MIETI held an information session on new grant schemes for businesses

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, participated in the information session held at the Amphitheater of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, where four new grant schemes worth over 5.8 million Euros for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Kosovo were presented.

According to the minister, these schemes aim to support businesses in increasing production capacities, expanding exports, digital transformation and empowering women in entrepreneurship.

The largest support scheme includes 5 million Euros dedicated to the purchase of manufacturing and processing machinery, with the aim of benefiting up to 90 businesses. The application for this scheme is expected to open within two days through the electronic platform e-Kosova.

Meanwhile, 600 thousand Euros have been allocated for international product certification, with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of Kosovar businesses in local and international markets.

200 thousand Euros have been allocated to support women entrepreneurs, while another fund is dedicated to the digitalization of enterprises, in order to modernize work processes and increase their efficiency.

Minister Kusari-Lila emphasized that these schemes are added to other programs that are already being implemented during 2026, including support for clean energy, dual education, and the creative industry.

She announced that during 2024 and 2025 alone, through MIETI programs, hundreds of enterprises have been supported with over 16 million Euros for investments in production machinery, certification, innovation, creative industries, and information and communication technology.

The Minister invited all businesses that meet the established criteria to apply and benefit from new opportunities for development, expansion of activity and increased competitiveness in the market.
