Minister Kusari-Lila met with investors from the diaspora, the company "Hapu" considers production in Kosovo

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, hosted representatives of the company "Hapu", Bekim Mazreku from Kosovo and Fejsal Bajrami from North Macedonia, two successful entrepreneurs who have been developing their business activity in Germany for years.
The meeting comes after the joint participation in the international investment conference "Future Industry Minds", held in Cologne, Germany, where Kosovo was a partner country and where the investment opportunities offered by the country were presented.
During the meeting at MIETI, representatives of the "Hapu" company expressed interest in bringing to Kosovo the production of an innovative fire and emergency evacuation door, a patented technology for the European market, the United States of America and China.
Bekim Mazreku, the inventor of this technology, presented the product at the international FeuerTrutz fair in Nuremberg, and now aims to develop its production in Kosovo, creating a product with the "Made in Kosovo" seal.
Minister Kusari-Lila announced that during their stay in Kosovo, the investors will visit existing and new industrial zones for two consecutive days, as well as hold meetings with institutions that support investments and business development, including the Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
She emphasized that the focus of the Government of Kosovo and the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation remains increasing production capacities in the country and creating the most favorable conditions for local investors and diaspora businesses that wish to invest in Kosovo.
According to Kusari-Lila, the interest of successful diaspora companies to relocate or expand production in Kosovo is evidence of the potential the country offers for new investments, industrial development, and job creation.
