MIETI and the Municipality of Gjilan sign an agreement for the design of the Industrial Park

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation (MIETI) and the Municipality of Gjilan have signed the cooperation agreement for the design of the Industrial Park in Gjilan, marking an important step towards the economic and industrial development of the municipality.

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, together with the Mayor of the Municipality of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, formalized the cooperation just a few weeks after the decision of the Government of Kosovo to declare the Industrial Park in Gjilan.

This project aims to create more favorable conditions for investments, expand production capacities, develop economic activities and open new jobs. Through the agreement, the parties will cooperate in undertaking the necessary steps for the design and development of the industrial park according to contemporary standards of sustainable development.

The Industrial Park will be built by promoting the principles of a circular economy, the use of renewable energy, the protection of the environment and the creation of equal opportunities for all citizens.
